A food technology company's tray dryer

2026-01-25

Latest company case about A food technology company's tray dryer
Case Detail
1. Continuous operation and high thermal efficiency. The disc dryer uses conductive heat transfer for drying, with only a very small amount (or none) of air introduced into the dryer during the drying process. The amount of exhaust gas carried is minimal, resulting in a thermal efficiency of over 65%.

2. Low power consumption and low noise. Due to the thin material layer and low spindle speed during drying, the material conveying system requires less power, resulting in low electricity consumption. The power consumption of the entire drying unit is only 1/5 to 1/7 of that of a convection heat transfer device, and the noise level is very low.

3. Uniform material heating and short drying time. During the drying process, the material tumbles along an Archimedean spiral trajectory within the drying discs, traveling a distance five times the radius of the drying discs and falling layer by layer. Therefore, the contact time between the material and the heating disc surface is essentially the same, resulting in very uniform heating.

4. Minimal material loss and good working environment.

5. Large drying capacity.

6. Closed and continuous operation, reducing worker workload.

7. The drying medium can utilize steam generated by a waste heat boiler, thus saving a significant amount of coal.

8. The product quality is stable.
