The Pressure Spray Dryer EcoGuard Series is designed for producers of detergent, dye and ceramic powders who must minimize fugitive dust, document energy performance and meet dust explosion safety codes under environmental and workplace regulations.
Working Principle
Filtered liquid feed is pressurized to 2 to 20 MPa by a high-pressure pump and atomized into a conical liquid sheet through a pressure nozzle, breaking into droplets that contact filtered, heated hot air in the drying tower (co-current, counter-current or mixed-flow configurations available). Moisture evaporates rapidly, drying into solid particles collected at the tower bottom and by a cyclone separator, with exhaust routed through the compliance emission train.
Environmental, Safety & Energy-Efficiency Enhancements
- Low-dust product design: larger, denser particles (100 to 300 μm) inherently generate less airborne dust than fine centrifugal spray powders, reducing occupational exposure and downstream dedusting load;
- Exhaust heat recovery: optional heat exchanger recovers exhaust energy to preheat drying air, lowering fuel/electricity consumption per ton of product;
