The Pressure Spray Dryer Ultimate Series is engineered for manufacturers requiring full process automation, precise particle size engineering and premium equipment construction for high-pressure nozzle atomization drying.
Working Principle
Filtered liquid feed is pressurized by a variable-speed high-pressure plunger pump under closed-loop pressure control to 2 to 20 MPa, then atomized through a pressure nozzle into a conical liquid sheet that breaks into droplets. Droplets contact filtered, temperature-controlled hot air in the drying tower (co-current, counter-current or mixed-flow, automatically configurable), with moisture evaporating rapidly into solid particles; all key process variables are continuously monitored and logged.
Automation & Premium Engineering Features
- Full PLC + SCADA/HMI control with recipe management for pump pressure, nozzle configuration parameters, inlet/outlet temperature and airflow, enabling repeatable product changeover;
- Closed-loop pressure and temperature control automatically compensates for feed viscosity variation to maintain target particle size and bulk density;
- Full data traceability with electronic batch records, alarm history and audit trail export compatible with GMP and ISO quality systems;
- Premium construction: 316L stainless steel wetted parts and piping, hardened/ceramic nozzle inserts for extended service life under abrasive feeds, mirror-polished tower interior;
- Multi-nozzle systems with individually monitored pressure and flow for large-scale continuous production with staged drying capability;
- Remote monitoring and predictive maintenance via Ethernet/OPC-UA integration with plant MES, including nozzle wear tracking.
Technical Advantages
Larger, denser, free-flowing particles (typically 100 to 300 μm) with automated closed-loop control ensuring consistent particle size and bulk density batch after batch; precise pressure and nozzle configuration control; suitable for large-scale continuous production with high single-machine throughput and lower power consumption than centrifugal atomization; full data traceability and premium wear-resistant components reduce maintenance frequency and downtime.
Applications
Suitable for premium detergent, specialty dye/pigment, ceramic powder and pharmaceutical granule manufacturers in North America, Europe, Japan, South Korea and China's high-end domestic market where process automation, particle size consistency and full batch traceability are core competitive requirements.
