XSG-14 Flash Dryer
The XSG-14 rotary flash dryer is a flagship high-capacity system engineered for ultra-large-scale continuous production in the most demanding industrial settings. With a barrel diameter of 1400 mm, overall dimensions of 1500 × 6500 mm, installed power ranging from 30 to 55 kW, airflow capacity of 12,000–25,000 m³/h, and a water evaporation capacity of 200–2000 kg/h, it delivers exceptional drying performance while occupying a footprint of just 5800 × 4800 mm—remarkably efficient given its output scale. Compared to the XSG-10, the XSG-14 offers up to double the evaporation capacity and superior handling of extremely wet, sticky, or rheologically complex materials such as thick filter cakes, concentrated slurries, and fine crystalline suspensions. Operating Principle
- Cold air passes through an air filter and is directed by a blower to the air heater
- Heated air enters the drying tower at appropriate velocity from the bottom
- Wet material is fed into the drying tower via screw feeder
- Strong shear forces, blowing, floating, and rotating actions occur
- Material crushing takes place through external mechanical force
- Heated air transfers thermal energy to wet material components
- Moisture absorption and evaporation phenomena occur
- Air carrying evaporated moisture moves to cyclone separator and pulse bag filter
- Air separation process completes the drying cycle
