XSG-16 Flash Dryer
The XSG-16 rotary flash dryer is the pinnacle of the XSG series, purpose-built for mega-scale continuous drying in the most intensive industrial applications. Featuring a 1600 mm barrel diameter, overall dimensions of 1700 × 7200 mm, installed power of 45–75 kW, airflow capacity of 18,000–35,000 m³/h, and a water evaporation capacity of 300–3000 kg/h, it achieves unmatched throughput while maintaining a space-efficient footprint of just 6300 × 5200 mm—demonstrating exceptional performance density. Compared to the XSG-14, the XSG-16 delivers up to 50% higher evaporation rates and enhanced capability in processing extremely challenging feedstocks, including high-moisture filter cakes, viscous pastes, abrasive slurries, and thermally sensitive fine powders. Operating Principle
  1. Cold air passes through an air filter and is directed by a blower to the air heater
  2. Heated air enters the drying tower at appropriate velocity from the bottom
  3. Wet material is fed into the drying tower via screw feeder
  4. Strong shear forces, blowing, floating, and rotating actions occur
  5. Material crushing takes place through external mechanical force
  6. Heated air transfers thermal energy to wet material components
  7. Moisture absorption and evaporation phenomena occur
  8. Air carrying evaporated moisture moves to cyclone separator and pulse bag filter
  9. Air separation process completes the drying cycle
