XSG-12 Flash Dryer
The XSG-12 rotary flash dryer represents the high-capacity tier of the XSG series, engineered for heavy-duty, large-volume continuous drying in demanding industrial environments. Featuring a 1200 mm barrel diameter, overall dimensions of 1300 × 5800 mm, installed power of 22–45 kW, airflow capacity of 8000–18,000 m³/h, and a water evaporation rate of 150–1500 kg/h, it maintains a relatively compact footprint of 5200 × 4200 mm—delivering exceptional output without excessive space requirements. Compared to the XSG-10, the XSG-12 provides up to 50% greater evaporation capacity and enhanced handling of ultra-high-moisture or highly viscous feeds, making it ideal for processing difficult materials like thick filter cakes, concentrated slurries, and heat-sensitive crystalline compounds. Operating Principle
- Cold air passes through an air filter and is directed by a blower to the air heater
- Heated air enters the drying tower at appropriate velocity from the bottom
- Wet material is fed into the drying tower via screw feeder
- Strong shear forces, blowing, floating, and rotating actions occur
- Material crushing takes place through external mechanical force
- Heated air transfers thermal energy to wet material components
- Moisture absorption and evaporation phenomena occur
- Air carrying evaporated moisture moves to cyclone separator and pulse bag filter
- Air separation process completes the drying cycle
