This spray drying system features extremely rapid drying—typically completed within just a few to several seconds—offering true “instant drying” performance. During the drying process, the temperature of the droplets remains relatively low, making it especially suitable for heat-sensitive materials and effectively preserving the product’s original color, aroma, and flavor.
To prevent material from sticking to the walls of the drying chamber, the system incorporates a specially designed structure that effectively eliminates wall adhesion issues. Additionally, a dedicated pneumatic conveying system promptly separates the dried powder from the hot, humid air inside the system, preventing moisture reabsorption or agglomeration of the final product.
Under vacuum conditions, the boiling point of the material solution is lowered, which increases the driving force for heat transfer in the evaporator. As a result, the required heat-transfer area can be significantly reduced for a given thermal load. The evaporation process can utilize low-pressure steam or waste steam as a heat source, and heat loss from the evaporator is minimal.
The system also supports sterilization prior to drying, and ensures no contamination during the entire drying process, fully complying with GMP standards. Furthermore, an integrated condenser enables efficient recovery of solvents from the material, enhancing both sustainability and cost-efficiency.
